It's almost game time...Tuesday is when I start my first round of medications for IVF. I will continue with these medications: Vitamin D, Metformin (2000mg), Birth control, and prenatal vitamins. On Tuesday, I will add these medications to the mix: baby aspirin, Z-pack (antibiotic), and Lupron - my first injection. I go in Tuesday morning for lessons on how to give myself the shot. Wish me luck!
Before they retrieve eggs or place blastocytes back into my uterus, my RE found several uterine polyps that need to be removed. These polyps can lead to miscarriage or the embryo failing to implant into the uterine lining. Of course, I found a sweet video to share:
I go in this Wednesday at 5am for a 7am surgery. Should be quick - 1 hr - and without issue. It's just the first step of getting into this IVF cycle.
Just thought I'd share our progress :)
